Unfortunately, discrimination in the workplace is all too often and long can have lasting effects on everyone. But what is exactly discrimination and what should you do if you believe that you discriminated against?
Discrimination occurs when someone, usually an employee differently from others, is treated by their employer. The State law, employers may not discriminate against their employees - i.e. they treat differently - because of her age, sex, marital status, race, disability, gender, sexual orientation, religion or cultural beliefs or because they are part-time working hours or on a fixed-term contract.
